Throughout my career I have been asked frequently by many people “What is it going to take for me to get a promotion?” I receive this question mostly from high-performing individuals who are accustomed to receiving frequent and meaningful promotions. Their career stalls out for some reason and they find themselves in the same job for years-on-end.
In this podcast I will answer this important question. I will also offer my perspective on promotions and some of the things you can do to improve your odds of being promoted. In addition, I will discuss what to do while waiting for a promotion and what to do in the event that promotion does not come through for you.
