I ran across a great article on the Harvard Business Review website on How to Increase your Influence at Work. The author made some very good suggestions on how Increasing your Influence at Work can help improve your results.
Rebecca Knight, a freelance journalist from Boston and frequent HBR contributor, spells out some simple steps to increase your influence. She details that building connections, listening before trying to persuade, minding your body language (see my post on Personal Product Management), developing expertise and, giving people what they want are all keys to increasing your influence. She also details some do’s and don’ts and a couple of case studies. An article worth reading.
I hope this article was helpful. Drop me a note or comment below if you wish to discuss.
Have a great day, and don’t forget to make a positive impression today and every day!
Thanks,
