Many of the people I coach look at their careers as a series of jobs that begin with their current job. They often weigh the next job opportunity using a short-term mindset. Sometimes they ask me whether I think they should take the job that is being offered to them. Sometimes they are lost, and they want me to recommend a direction they should take their career.
